ABOUT
Hi, I’m Kayla Meechelle, a visual communications professional and multimedia storyteller with experience across digital media, live production, and broadcast environments.
I have contributed to over 16 stage productions and have expanded my expertise into multimedia content development, including audio production, digital storytelling, and visual communications strategy. My work integrates creative direction with technical execution to deliver cohesive and impactful media experiences.
I have supported content creation and marketing efforts for university departments and programs, including the University of the Pacific's Pacific Recreation and San Joaquin Delta College’s Career Technical Education & Workforce Division, where I contributed to digital content, branding, and audience engagement initiatives. Previously, I served as Social Media Coordinator and Executive Producer for San Joaquin Delta College’s Digital Media program, where I led content strategy and produced deliverables that showcased student-led productions, including Delta College's student-run radio station, 93.5 KWDC.
My professional experience also includes graphic design, social media marketing support, and communications assistance for the Grand Theatre, as well as photography work for BraveMaker, where I captured visual content to support the promotion of independent filmmaking in the Bay Area. Additionally, I interned with The American Pavilion at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, supporting international programming through technical production and logistics, and contributed to TEDxUoPacific 2025 as part of the camera crew and marketing team.
I bring a strong foundation in research, collaboration, and strategic communication, with a commitment to producing media that is both purposeful and inclusive. I am particularly interested in opportunities that combine visual storytelling, digital media, and audience engagement.
